You can eat, drink, and urinate as usual before your visit, except if you are coming for an early check before week 10 or for an additional check of your placenta, it’s advisable not to urinate 1 hour before your visit.
To avoid spreading illness to others, we generously assist you in rescheduling if you or your companion are sick.

We advise against bringing children (of any age), as the examination requires a calm environment and full concentration from the midwife or doctor performing the scan. This also allows you to relax and fully take part in your examination.
In rare cases where the results are not as expected, it can be very difficult to receive such information while children are present.
We are happy to provide photos and video clips so you can share the experience with family and friends in a more relaxed setting at home.
If there is more than two expectant parents, all parents-to-be are of course welcome to attend the examination together.

If you are visiting Sweden as a tourist from a country outside the EU or from a convention country, you will need to pay for the examination. Please see the price list under Private Ultrasound Scans.
