If your midwife has sent a referral, you will receive an appointment notice via Kivra or by post. If you wish to change your appointment or have any questions, you are welcome to contact us by phone or via 1177.

Cancellations
Cancellations can be made at any time. Please ensure you cancel your appointment at least 24 hours in advance to avoid a fee.
If you fail to attend your scheduled appointment without a valid reason, you will be charged SEK 400, in accordance with Region Stockholm regulations. Not receiving an SMS reminder is not considered a valid reason for late cancellation or missed appointment.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for your visit, we will not be able to conduct a complete examination and will therefore need to reschedule your appointment.

Fees and Booking Terms
Your visit is free of charge if you come with a referral and are entitled to care. For more information, see 1177:
Care in Sweden if you come from another country
Asylum seekers: Bring a valid LMA card for a free examination when attending with a referral.
Residents of other EU countries (not registered in Sweden): Bring a valid European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) for a free examination. If you are from Finland, Denmark, Norway, or Iceland, no EU card is needed.
Tourists from outside the EU or convention countries: You will need to pay for the examination. See the price list under Private Ultrasound Scans.
Self-booked appointments without a referral: Full payment is required. See the price list under Private Ultrasound Scans.

Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. At Blicka Ultrasound Clinic, we handle your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Patient Data Act. We use personal logins, access logs, firewalls, and backups to protect your information. All staff receive regular training in information security and confidentiality.
We maintain medical records in accordance with applicable laws to provide safe and high-quality care.
Medical imaging from your examination is carried out in accordance with SFOG’s recommendations and is stored for two years.
Only authorised healthcare personnel have access to your information. All staff are bound by confidentiality and professional secrecy.
You have the right to access your medical records and request a log of who has accessed your information.
We work systematically with information security to protect your privacy and prevent unauthorised access. If you have any questions about how we handle personal data, you are welcome to contact our clinic manager. Our goal is to ensure that you as a patient can always feel confident that your personal data is handled legally, correctly, and securely.
