As a pregnant woman, you may feel anxious and a need to know as much as possible about your expected child. Blicka ultrasound clinic in Täby offers private NIPT where you as a patient bear the cost yourself.
You do not need to be registered in Stockholm to book a private NIPT with us. We place great emphasis on a safe and calm approach.
What is NIPT
NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Test) is a blood test taken like a regular venous sample from the pregnant woman's arm crease. In the blood of the pregnant woman, there are small amounts of the fetus's DNA that can be analyzed through the blood test. The test provides information about the likelihood of certain chromosomal abnormalities.

The blood test is sent to Karolinska's lab for analysis and the result often comes after a week, but sometimes it takes up to two weeks. You log in to the patient portal with Bank-ID where all normal results will be available. If the result shows any deviations, the midwife from Blicka Ultrasound Clinic will contact you for further processing. If no response has been received after two weeks or if you cannot log in, please contact us by phone or via 1177.se

Book NIPT with or without sound
If you have recently done your CUB (max 7 days ago), you can book NIPT without ultrasound. If not, NIPT with ultrasound is recommended.
